6 point penalty imo, tactical race beating some probably slightly over rated rivals

The winner of a plate race will not be adjusted more than 6 merit rating points.
Must get the max 'cos it won from so far out at the weights.

Yes, will get the max officially!
I agree with Bob though ,and I will wait for a couple of these horses next runs and come back to rate this race for my own ratings....impossible for me to accurately choose a starting point (or line horse) right now!

There is more to this story than meets the eye. Bankable Teddy had his MR raised by the connections in an attempt to qualify for the July. Whilst this was a conditions race and set penalties for the winner are in place, it will be extremely interesting to see how Bankable Teddy's MR is "managed". In essence the horse is running with a self imposed penalty, and as such the handicappers should be forced to ignore him in a handicapped race surely? Would logic not dictate that he gets dropped to whatever he was before the manual intervention immediately?
