Well it could well be the 'Fortune & Fourie' show tomorrow - lol!

R1 Take your pick 'Fortune' OR 'Fourie'
R2 Take your pick 'Fortune' OR 'Fourie'
R3 Take your pick 'Fortune' OR 'Fourie'
R4 'Magic Falcon' looks the one to beat.
R5 Will 'Key Castle' stop a 'Just Banter' 4-timer?
R6 Between 'Ela-re' and an improved 'Karl' (The Fortune Factor?)
R7 Take your pick 'Fortune' OR 'Fourie'
R8 The downgraded 'Astral Athina' to be too good for'Woy Woy'

A very hard card, unless Fortune or Fourie have good days - lol!

So I'll plump for Magic Falcon,Key Castle, Karl, and Astral Athina in a 'Lucky 15' - Ouzo guys, Jim.

R1: Pass: Al Bulli, and Shining Colt best of those raced, but that represents pretty poor form and anything
in the field might beat the exposed form.
R2: Pass: Few have raced the distance
R3: Pass: very little between those that have raced the distance - but once again the exposed form is extremely
weak and anything could beat the form.
R4: Pass: Too many haven't any form at the distance, and the exposed form is very poor.
R5: Just Banter obviously a different proposition at this distance. Hard to oppose. Plum Gold would give him a run for the money if finding any consistency on the day.
R6: Would Imagine Spanish Step to be too good for this field. Changeling could be involved in the finish.
R7: Dealers Choice, hoping he returns fit, with Vettriano main danger.
R8: Dicey Race, Horses with this low MR cannot be counted on. Heyday has a chance but seems inconsistent, Louise and Romantic
bliss in with a chance. Astral Athina also a chance.

Summary - Good day to attend to other matters. Just Banter worth a chance but by no means a sure thing. Dealers Choice may be
worth a shot if the odds are really attractive, as with Spanish Step.

Given the potential soft going, all the more reason to take the day off.

It has rained on and off through the night here,so it will probably be 30+ on the pen.Absolutely rubbish racing though,so I think it may be a movie day for me.

Absolutely bucketed down during the night!!!!

Will be very soft!

The best going up the straight has, in the last year or so, been up the outside rail when it really pours with rain, which it did last night!

In a nutsheel then, if a horse normally races handy, and is drawn high down the straight, especially in a big field, that's the one to go for!!

Good racing!

The best going for me is in the opposite direction of the track :)

Thanks for the weather update, Yeldah; pity that they are racing at Durbanville so there are no races down the straight - lol; I think find the horses that race handy and stick them in a PA

Oops, apologies!

Thought they were racing at Kenilworth today.

The weather until the week-end is rain, rain, rain, so the handy horses down the straight will still hold for the week-end.
