Horseracing fans have traditionally flocked to the coast for the big race days in Durban and Cape Town. For the first time ever on 10 November, Turffontein Racecourse will host a lavish and sophisticated night-time race event known as Equinity.

Not sure what the whole " package " entails but R 800 and R 2200 tickets not perhaps on the high side ? What exactly are they going to get for their buck ? FREE meals included ?

Once again i am let down where the heading of the thread is misleading.
here i thought u were gonna announce they plan on burning down Turfontein as they realise what a crap location it is but no they gonna advertise where the muggers and hijackers need to be if they wanna make a literal and figurative killing.

Bob I reckon the next day is still a work day unless they don't work up in Jozis on a Friday.
I am not too sure how the area around the bigT has shaped up over the years .... its been described as a dump.... so I am not to sure they going to get a crowd.....
Durban cant pull a decent crowd for a night meet
