No RP , I said aloud what I was typing and realised I was sounding like an ass ...with my Brackenfell accent and was wandering what that Scot would sound like if he had to say it aloud quickly...but really well done to Top Tipster for the great selections thusfar !

Horse can't need a run. What has it been doing in the stable? Trotting.

plenty horses need a run. even the best. Remember Legal Eagle's loss on the inside track to Killua Castle? You can do how much of track work at home but it doesn't substitute for an actual race.

No graft - but some further observations looking at the form and trying to 'outgraft' the grafters ....
R1: I think Querari Viking is too short in the betting - not to say it can't win, but others looks better value imo....Bubbly Reply has a wide draw and an unfashionable jock, but will probably go to the front again and keep on for a dirty 3rd; Flying Fool another who has to beat a poor draw, but should also be right there; Bono hard to judge but should improve over this trip and then there's the Azzie first timer.....who knows; those 5 to fight it out imo
R2: Samurai Blade will have to be way below his best to get beat here; yes I know the stable prefers bringing them to the track in these type of races with 'improvement to come'; however he needs to run 10 lengths below his rating to get beat here; not much between Jubilee Line and Nephrite on their last runs; and then Unagi represents the younger brigade - if nothing else should at least give us an idea of the relative strength of the 3 yr olds
R3: Tough handicap to open the PA; Hideaway another 3 yr old taking on his elders, look a touch high in the handicap and the lack of any betting support seems to indicate that the connections agree.....still can't be ignored; obvious one at the weights as pointed out by a few is Champions Cup, but for me that last run was not great and he may going off the boil; safest inclusions in the PA for me is Lisnoble who likes this trip and Klondike River who now gets another 1.5 kgs off courtesy of the very capable apprentice (who incidentally sits on 49 wins and could lose hos allowance after today); Secret Lover for me needs a little further and Baracah has had too many chances for me
R4: Does look a straight forward match between Miss Turbo and Fish River Canyon - both are lightly raced but both may just need a little further - real value here imo lies with Cool Escape who set the pace from a wide draw last time and still finished close to Miss Turbo - nice draw today and definite inclusion in the P6 for me
R5: As stated earlier, Henry Higgins appeals at the weights, but Hypothermic also ran to much higher than his rating last time and could prove the main danger; obviously Silver Peg and Boy Boy must be considered as well.
R6: Everything depends on the state of fitness of Myfunnyvalentine; should prove hard to beat if coming to the track fully fit; however as stated earlier the stable usually bring them to the track needing a run after a rest; Crown of Roses has her first try around this turn, and has top weight to boot, but she is at least a proven sprinter and is in great form so should go close from the 1 draw; Drifting Dusk another who is suited to the trip and is often thereabouts so does also make some appeal; if's and buts about many of the others and it is probably a case of Myfunnyvalentine and Crown of Roses, or the field
R7: As mentioned earlier, Kangeroo Jack will take a lot of beating imo - but after looking at the race again, I do think that Moofeed could maybe challenge if there is a real hot pace, which does seem likely with the likes of Mod Barley and Buckland in the field
R8: All Night Flight imo will go close again; yes his form at this track does not look that great, but he did finish 4th here twice and his rating has come down, so not the worst choice if looking for a Ps banker.....Hallo Mr another 3 yr old who may be better than rated and could prove the main danger; both Cannes and Daspoort imo have lots to do at the weights, so from me the others to consider include High Game (no information on this one on USO this morning
), Led Zeppelin and Inspector Casey (may just need another run though)
R9; From opening this card, I fancied Flowing Gown.....has improved a lot since her maiden win (on which she does seem held by Pearl Valley on a line through Sister Mary) and her most recent run behind Paree (twice a winner since) inspires a lot of confidence.....now get Gavin in the irons, so that is another plus; for me In the Web's maiden win not that great and Modjaji is very moderate...so main danger has to be Pearl Valley ....who may be better than rated - but still took 14 runs to win her maiden
Enjoy

Unagi must be better than his last two. I make him the danger as well.
