R8 Caprice des Dieux has hopefully been able to retain sufficient ability from her CT days and with Fortune up is likely to be a major contender despite a terrible draw. With that in mind though, at the prices, I would rather go with an e/w on Argo's Jewel who showed definite signs of a return to form lto when returning from a 13 week break. The draw is far from ideal and 2nd run after a rest syndrome is possible but at 16s plus is worth chancing. In that last run she finished 1.7l infront of Black Jade who is 1.5kgs better off. The latter, on the back of her supposedly improved run lto, is now a 9/2 shot as opposed to 25/1 lto over a d she is probably less suited to. Has a chance but I do scratch my head over the prices sometimes. Anyway, on the basis of AJ's run lto I would much rather take her at 3 or 4 x the price. It would not surprise at all though to see a low draw come and take the spoils, perhaps stablemate of BJ, Lecture's Luck, who for once does get a decent draw on the poly. The nutter bet will be on Iwannabe. In the hope that the coughing caused the poor run lto, she was only 0.1l behind AJ in the run mentioned above, that was her PE debut and the extra d may suit her, at 33s worth chancing a bit of change.

Breathless Bertie ran well on local debut but it`s a terrible draw to overcome
