Conflict of Interest ?

Am i missing something or does the following not constitute a conflict of interest ?

In the Computaform of late (the specific one i remember Sun 1 Jun for Turfontein) i notice that under "Phumelela Highveld officials", the name Mr C Basel.

As Mr C Basel is also the GM of the RA, does this not constitute a conflict of interest ?

Does it also not credence to the assertion that the RA cannot take on Phumelela as they appear to be one and the same ?

Furthermore, were we not told that Phumelela directors, Jooste and Van Niekerk, are to attend some RA Board meetings ?

Also bear in mind that Phumelela directors Jooste and Van Niekerk are trustees of the Racing Trust.

Just a poser from a RA member who views Phumelela with suspicion based on their handling of our racing.

It is disturbing that the RA/Phumelela nexus is so deep-rooted.

Why not sell the Racing Trust / Randjies to P. Pay out the proceeds of the sale to RA Members.

Dissolve the RA and let P take over the running of racing completely.

Let members join P instead and pay them an annual amount for support etc.

No problems with us and them scenario Owner then has a choice to race under Phumelela or not to race under Phumelela.
