Lets say a casino does not want you business for whatever reason. Each night you evade the staff and lose. Then you win and they look up and recognize you.
They say we told you we don't want you, we told you if we catch you all money will be forfeited. No you say, I been losing, why didn't you give me my loses back then?
Are you just a mad person?

Suppose some of these rules are probably part of the gambling board criteria to protect problem and self excluded customers, probably the same for bookie websites ?

Simple .. It is a contract in bad faith... If I have stated that I do not want to contract with you and then you deceive me by using an"agent" to contract with me then I can cancel the contract.

Couple of years ago a gambler went to court after barring himself to play in casinos. When he lost he never was approached by the casino for trespassing or gambling until he won. They then withheld his payout. Dont know what was the final ruling.

He should have lost that case... He was the master of his own disaster... He could have called GA or a family friend or taken sleeping pills until the urge passed.. I do know some guys that have banned themselves and as far as I know they were stopped ... Though I sympathize with the the illness, part of getting well is taking responsibility for your own actions and not by making others responsible to keep you on the straight and narrow... GA suggests you give financial control to your wife or family member to prevent you from punting .... maybe he should have done that

Self-banning is an oxy-moron. It's a diet, or it's avoiding the gym. What are the things you can self-ban yourself from, are they good things and bad things?
Imho if you pay the self-banned person have you then encouraged him to play despite his best efforts to stop? Or do you keep the money for his own good, which is to help him to stop gambling.
Would we ever believe a bookie or casino if they say they keeping it for the blokes own good?
If you REALLY believe that gambling is an addiction then keeping his money is exactly the same as holding his car keys when he's pissed and staggering.

Why do bookies ban punters that win constantly large amounts of cash. Isn't there a law that prevent bookies from discriminating ( winning) punters.
