Its my prerogative as is every owners who they use.
Antony is organizing a vet as we speak.
If the horse was indeed lame why ride him out
If not then why so far back
He career won't be defined here today, i like him and even spoke to him about riding over here and in the USA.
Whether i ever speak to him again i don't know BUT my posts are based on feedback from my trainer and the watching of a ride that was not satisfactory to me or our syndicate.
EVERYBODY is entitled to make a mistake BUT for me what happened today just does not sit very well.
10 000 ks away and I'm not getting the correct answers.

WHAT insinuations IM saying I THINK it was a poor/kak ride.END of.
BUT then
Im told
His lame
his recovering from AHS
His not lame
There is NO AHS
i mean I'm the only consistent one here.
THEY can't have it all ways……….
If it was a underperformace run then FINE
BUT why say his lame
Then ride him out
Then trainer says NOT lame

Well Ryan kudos for coming on here, respect for that. I am NOT talking through my pocket as i never backed him today BUT i cannot fathom how he was giving them so much start Now you say that has happened before but that was over 2200m NOT 1800m.
IF he was flat or lacklustre then as i said above SCRATCH him or jump off him.
Tienie tells me there is NOTHING wrong with him.
Your previous performances on him was very good. I thank you for saying he is your favourite horse and i believe you mean that.
Perhaps a SHYTE ride BUT again ill say if he WAS flat then STOP RIDING YOUR FAVOURITE HORSE because IMVHO riding out could have caused even more damage….
It can't work both ways i am afraid. either he is himself and too ugh to do
or
he is not himself and you stop riding him.
Utter KAK! The boy doesnt get to make those calls, only after action experts.
Ryan Munger, what you have here is an expert in the blame game. If you ignore this, the prick will be o.u.t. soon enough and hopefully non of this will, or should, stick to you. Do yourself a favour and forget this. If he doesn't stop, go for his colours, force him to put up or shut up as he is bring you into disrepute on no evidence at all. No one here, for example, buys 1 ounce of his shit.
When you can, give that whole hole a miss.

Now you really are talking KAK yourself.
You are the one who started talking about the lays on the Betfair place market.
If that's not insinuating skullduggery then I'm not sure what is.
You should be careful what you say.You are heading into libellous territory.

At this stage the issue is simple .........the horse is/was either striding short or it wasn't!
(IMHO,the horse never looked to be striding all that comfortably.)
This horse has actually defied Kimberly norms and actually ran consistently well for over 3 months, and then transported to the Vaal to take advantage of the turf MR!
Perhaps too many visits to the well in one campaign?
Why would that in fact be the jocks fault and not the conditioner ........I don't know the answer either but this reaction seems a bit over the top unless there is evidence of skullduggery!
If,of course, there was more confidence in our regulators this kind of speculation would be less frequent as we would have faith that they have their eye on things!

Unbelievable
SO Antony googles VET and rings a VET in Kimberley. Guess WHAT!!
Its the same VET and he says "the horse was not striding out off fore, lame"
I will get to the bottom of this and if and when i find out what is going on ill apologise to Ryan and move the horse. Or stick to my story.
I will also like to know why if indeed he was lame why he was ridden out but for now it appears that there is a tad of misinformation doing the rounds.

I have often been told by my trainer friends that owners who can not accept a bad run from a good horse are the bane of their lives. With all due respect, easy some of the things that you have written are unacceptable, especially when you have not got all the facts at your disposal and are allowing your disappointment to get the better of you.
If the horse is lame, or has another ailment, how are you ever going to repair the damage you have inflicted on a young man at the start of his career?

Easy, you shouldn't have began this post. It wasn't based on facts and evidence. In hindsight, it's caused you justification, speculation, stressing, witch hunts and... embarrassment. Forget the pressure of appeasing new owners. This is the game: win some/ lose some (varies though
). Rather, delete this post - or apologise for your rash decision about Ryan Munger based on early perception. That wasn't nice. A good, sensible person doesn't resort to slandering someone's character and their career on a public forum - especially, without evidence/ facts.
