Its a genuine offer of trying to get a young guy off the starting blocks.

Good talking to you this morning. I firmly believe that through shear had work and determination you can become a top jockey (stakes/wins). As you know its a tough and cruel game. The last ting i want you to think is that I would be representing you for the money. Ill cut right to the chase, earning in pounds prices me right out. If i "earned" R100k from you in commission its the same to me as £5000 and frankly I just placed £2500 on the draw in the England v Sri Lanka test match.

So why do this you might ask, well i believe that you or any jockey/sportsman for that matter with the right person and team behind them can become successful. The legend that was A P McCoy is famous for a few things, what a lot of people don't know is he ONLY rode. Everything else and i mean everything else was done by others.

We not there yet. BUT I'm willing to do something for you and my reasons are these:
1: I like the way your rode/ride our horse.
2: I like that you said you would listen
3: I like that you have a young family and want the best for them.

So in brief (and very brief as i would want this done by a lawyer)

1: No drink (1 strike with me)
2: No drugs (1 strike with me)
3: Ride work where ever I book you ( we will run a diary to allow for birthdays and other important days
4: You save your money i.e. don't start driving a sports-car
5: Our contract is for LIFE, if you want out you gonna have to pay.
6: Ill do your rides for 2 years for FREE but i want 10% of stakes earnings
7: We talk every day good bad or indifferent.
8: If you are suspended then i will book you to ride work either in the UK or USA during your suspension (thats why you need to save money)
9: We work out the most cost efficient way of travel booking etc. (it might pay for us to control your diary and book flights same time) this helps as sometime you riding and i can't talk to you but have secured 5 rides in Cape Town and by booking the ticket for you (you save)
10: Courteous at all times to our clients (trainers)
11: Once you start riding winners and people start talking KAK in your ear you always remember where this started.
12: This season you have 56 rides. By increasing that to over 400 in year 1 and over 600 in year 2 your buy out will be agreed mutually prior to signing contract. In other words if I book these rides for free then I must be worth something. What i am trying to avoid is poison. I do the hard graft for 2 years and then a family member takes over (happens in all sport)
13: Ill ONLY ever represent you. I don't believe one can represent 2 jockeys properly.
14: You trust me to have your best interests at heart which in the medium term will include leaving SA and riding in the USA (best for you and family)

That's it for now, I am sure i will think of other things and you will have questions. I watch all SA racing and Skype makes the calls cheap. So I'm comfortable with me end.

I've got a very long ladder if you need to get out of the hole you've dug for yourself..
Surely your stable needs the kick in the nuptials for keeping you in the dark.
How can syndicate members take you seriously if your not kept in the loop, especially if they like a punt..I would think the other syndicate that you took the piss out of a couple of weeks ago are finding this whole episode hilarious.
Then again Easy, you have got previous for gobbing off before the dust settles..You've had a Gerald Rattner moment I'm afraid.

chicken n chips wrote: Easy, honestly why stick the above post on an open forum? You have dug a huge hole for yourself and the best way to get out of it is to stop trying to justify yourself. Fair enough you have apologised to the parties concerned but you must now stop. By the way why would you place 2.5 k on England drawing with Sri Lanka? as they don't play each other for at least another 3 years

Hoender, that was past tense

The horse won like that the last time and won and nothing was said. If i were an owner i would take all my horses away from the trainer if you had horses there. We talking about Kimberley and theres no horse chestnuts there. Ryan Munger you are a top man

Easy,I moan enough about rides given by certain jockeys.Ive had a moan about Munger a while back, after he won that big race for the Human yard he made some bad decisions race riding. But he's young and in my opinion he's showing recently what he can do.I thought the ride on Gogetthesherrif and Lebeona previously were great.
Where you messed up Easy was insinuating he was cheating and taking a backhander. Then you get the real story from the yard and fair play to you for apologising.

Just spoke to Tienie

Horse got his AHS on the 30th
Horse is NOT lame

We not happy but he did say that the vet had told him between 6 and 10 days there could be a fever. There was nothing and yesterday was day 12.

I AM GOING TO campaign for AHS to be documented in the official FORM guide from now on.

That is my mission.

Strange but the story always with AHS vaccinations were "Beware and go easy at 14 days" after AHS2

Most horses have no reaction but some get fairly ill
No different with humans
