Bets being reversed after winning ! Marshalls

Marshalls - allow me to take a Bet and then after I want to withdraw winnings, say to me that this is not allowed as related bets , surely when taking a bet they would stop you if this is related - now that I win R2000 / R50 they are saying this is not allowed. Any Advice ?

So they accept your bet then when you win they dont pay. I wonder if they would have refunded your money if the bet was a losing one. :woohoo: dont be mad they are money grabbers cnc.

Unfortunately you are at the mercy of their terms and conditions,

Any bets accepted by Marshalls World of Sport either inadvertently or erroneously, which are deemed to be related or interdependent, will be split by Marshalls World of Sport in order that they are no longer related. The total stake on the original bet will be split equally between the related bets.

Multiple bets are not accepted between events that materially affect one another or where the result of one part of the bet contributes or assists in determining the outcome of another part of the bet. Should a bet of this nature be accepted either unwittingly or by error Marshall's World of Sport reserve the right to amend the bet and split the stake equally between the parts of the original bet that are affected by each other.

They need to get better software

If your account is in Verulam MWoS then you need to set up a meeting to discuss this issue. According to the bet taken they will be within their rights to do as they have done.

Seems harsh that the customer must be penalized, so the ticket given is not the real payout.

Hollywood identifies related bet before submitting ticket.

In f1 h2h, if you take the same driver to lose to say 3 other drivers I can't see how that is related as there is no relation in the outcome of any of the 3. For example the driver could lose to opponent A & B but win against opponent C.

Or am I missing something? if bookies put up odds and accept the bet, they should honour it. Not come up with excuses when it is a winning bet.

This is only a problem when the bet wins. If the bet had lost there would be no refund of that I am 100% sure. This type of bookmaker infuriates me as they are underhanded and should be reported to the relevant gambling board. It is my opinion that if a bet is struck then the bookmaker has accepted the relevant terms and this bet is legally binding. I agree 100% that software should prevent bets from being struck should this transgress rules - this happens on other online platforms. Are these not the guys who are being sued by Tellytrack for not settling broadcast costs? Dodgy bunch from the looks of things

if they cant honour a 2000 rand bet change your bookmaker this is ridicolous
