-Also,those who she beat in those races she won,have on gone on to become 'decent' battlers.

Doesn't matter if the horse is a champion,if ridden wrongly he will not respond! Horseracing is not won on mere form alone coz if it was true we would all be rich men. But with the reasoning above I have tipped many a confident longshots in the past,even thou not so confident on this 1 I do believe the signs are there for her to be competitive.

Thanks for taking the trouble to explain your thinking - you have convinced me that she is not totally without a chance in an open race - just to note that before her previous 2 wins, she at least ran about 5 lengths off them, whereas just 14 days ago, she ran almost 15 lengths back .... :ohmy:

True that.also noted that.but I've watched the replays of both those last 2 races and the jocks rushed her for a handy spot.Whereas Gavin just leaves her be wherever she is relaxed.
