Why all the fuss about first timers ............horses not racing fit and running way below ability,is by far our biggest problem.

What did you think of the trainers comments? "when we put a saddle on her she started squeeling that she was in season"

Different class. Was sitting in 3rd at the 400m looking like he just couldn't wait for the leaders to move out the way as he was travelling so easily.
Not even a race

Different class "today"
Was impressed with New Predators run also, the rest of the race can have a line put through

I thought Champagne Haze ran well too there especially as it looked he was sent out to make the pace for KJ.

8 years 8 months agoSeems like Mark Khan is still involved with the Alexander stable as Gary thanked him as part of the team in the post-race interview.rob faux wrote:Bob Brogan wrote:rob faux wrote: On the face of it ,Mark Kahn should be taking out a trainers licence .........Woodruffe stable doesn't enjoy the same reliability since his retirement as stable jock and when he joined the Alexander stable,he brought them to the fore, after a decade in the wilderness.
Unless its coincidence, his contribution seems invaluable!
Is he still at Alexander's? Know Wernars sacked him by mutual consent probably
Oh ,didnt know that .......I thought he was racing manager there!
(could he have had a role in Van Vuurens stable improvement?)
I would love to know what he is doing now because I will become a close follower!
perhaps somebody can tell us!
