Gstaad 1400/1600m next time out will be a pointer. Not given a punishing ride but really finished smartly from just about last.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Small wager on Rinjani in case the favourite doesn't pitch up today.

Prefer the fields being slightly smaller at Durbanville, gives you more of a chance to watch out for the " unlucky ones"

It must be nice to know that, even though you ride a horse like a complete cowboy, you have so much horse under you that nothing you can do wrong to the poor soul will cost you the victory.....

Must be nice

He will certainly be a force this colt!

Not always about the field he beats bobbo, the type makes a large difference too.

Seems though that if he is useful, he will be headed to hong kong.

I think Fortune did the right thing to go to the front. He knew he had a better horse than the rest of the field so why sit at the back after a poor start and if the pace upfront is a crawl he might have been too far back in the straight and been an unlucky loser as he might not have made up the ground fast enough.
