Saturday’s G1 Caulfield Stakes will be the smallest field ever for a G1 in Australia outside of match races with just three horses accepting in the race.

Champion mare Winx and Darren Weir’s star Black Heart Bart have scared off all other rivals except for He Or She.

The final acceptances for the 2016 Caulfield Stakes have closed with just the three horses accepting for the race.

Do they run with full stakes? If so are the 4th and/or 5th stakes etc redistributed to 1st, 2nd and 3rd?
