DURBANVILLE, 12/10

R3, Streaming, trading at 10 or 12.5/1 depending where you look, really believe this horse is weighted to go close. Whilst not shown in Computaform, it is a blinker strike, decent draw, think they will try and make it a hot pace from the get-go. Does tend to race handy so not overly perturbed about the drop back in distance. Think this is a massive price for a horse carrying 53.5kgs.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 1: The two runners with form, Purple Rock and Silver Ridge are both drawn very wide. This throws the race open, so tread carefully.
Race 2: Rock Stewart is selected to win. Moulina is very consistent and should go close. Butterfly Spirit, Sounds of Love and Gin for Genius are others to include in the quartet.
Race 3: Very tricky. No selection
Race 4:Small field, but open. My shortlist is La Flambee, Louisiana and Mixed Emotion.
Race 5: Evoke Emotion gets the vote. Quine must be respected. Tonya is well weighted if fit.
Race 6: New Caledonia could make it 3 in a row. The Great One looks very promising, but a tricky draw. Dancer is also useful. Storm Front should make it into the quartet.
Race 7: Silver Laurel has been knocking on the door and should win soon. Should be in the shake up, but a tough draw to overcome, and was a bit sore after her last run.
Red Berry Candle has a place chance. Angel of Athens gets a great draw on debut. She shows promise, and will come on from this run. Step Out is a very nice filly. Bred for further, but probably good enough to earn a cheque first time out.
On that Note finished in front of Silver Laurel last time, and is the one to beat. Light Chaser has good form and should go close despite the draw. Red Ginger and Aries are improving sorts to include in quartets. Nutbush Citilimits ran well from a bad draw last time and won't be far off again.

Gray Frost – based on sand work should improve after this rest and gelding
Butterfly Spirit – that good last try should see her run competitively
Stopthinkingofme – light filly who will probably need further
Louisiana – looking good and doing well at home, sure to be competitive
Navasha – fair run expected back over a mile
The Great One – has come on since beating Craven on debut but is poorly drawn
Silver Laurel – work is decent after treated by physio for being a bit sore last week
PA – 1,13 x 1,3,4,8 x 1,2 x 1 x 4,7 x 2,9,10 x 1,2,3
