Snow expected at the Vaal today...Striker rides 2 first-timers from small stables... that could mean they have ability as riding untried horses is not his favourite pursuit.

I give a big quartet and place chance to BRIGHTON BELLE today(might still need an extra furlong) ...watched in debut and was green and flying late. The trainer/jock combo adds a point or 2 to the price but both are horsemen that have been associated with good horses.
