"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Thursday 5th June Workings..
17 years 2 months ago
Afternoon,
This afternoon completed and went as follows..
The 1st runner we wanted 3.3 and with being around 3.5 on arrival and only getting bigger and bigger we never see our lay price at any stage, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'.........
The 2nd runner we wanted 1.5 and with being around 1.68 on arrival and only coming down to a rock bottom 1.52, we never see our lay price at any stage, so a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won easily, so a good leave.......
The 3rd runner we wanted 2.1 and with drifting to around 2.26 on arrival and only getting bigger, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner came in 3rd and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr. Early traders happy though.....
The 4th runner we wanted 3.3 and with being around 4.0 on arrival and only getting bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage and so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten, so the drift justified and 'one that got away in hindsight'........
The 5th runner we wanted 1.7 and with being around 1.94 on arrival and then tumbling down to us and beyond under good late support, we had a lay at 1.7 max. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Only traders playing now and with them easily getting their trade back prices in running, they got away with it and no damage done...
The 6th and final runner we wanted 2.7, but a non runner and 11.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.51 (2.5 nearest exchange price). The price was around 2.66 on arrival and with only a bit of trading left and all strategy play completed, I'm going to concentrate on this evening's play, so speak soon with that...Good luck with this last runner traders..
WELL PLAYED/BATTLED..
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) had no play today with too many no play races, so they'll go to this evening's play....
'Bank building' strategy/target players also had no play with a host of no play races early, so they to will go to this evening's workings.........
Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so they did OK and good stuff...
So a bit of a dull session with no bets due to drifters etc, but winners avoided also and that's good stuff. Speak soon with this evening's workings...
Marc.

Morning,
The races, runners and prices to work around for this afternoon as follows..
2.10 Hamilton. CUSTARD CREAM KID (3.5)
Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.3 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early markets for clues, concerning this race*
3.00 Newton Abbot. TOT OF THE KNAR (1.68)
Our price 8/11 (1.727) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.5 or under we'll go in for a lay.
3.30 Newton Abbot. ACAPULCO BAY (2.18)
Our price 7/5 (2.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.1 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to race prominently in his races*
4.00 Newton Abbot. COLLIERS COURT (3.5)
Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.3 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race very prominently in his races*
4.30 Newton Abbot. TARTAK (1.88)
Our price Evens (2.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.7 or under, we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he showed a tendency to race prominently when in France, so no surprise to see the same tactics applied again on British debut this afteroon*
5.10 Hamilton. LA VECCHIA SCUOLA (2.68)
Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.7 or under.
All races priced up with non runners taken into account up until 10.10am.
That's what we have to work around for this evening then. Only the six to work around, so no room for error early and with it looking tough on the whole we look to be in for a tough session. However! we have just about enough about us to warrant going into battle, so discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings...
