Track manager did an amazing job from yesterday . Track looks heavy today and we have some decent chances again today. Of our runners i personally like switched on the most .
Wont be surprise to see some big upsets today and exotics can pay alot

Has Var Ahead lost a leg or something? Thought he was pretty decent as a juvenile. Will have an e/w bet on him @33/1 for a bit of interest today.

Serious question? Wet sand is harder and faster than dry sand on a beach .........is that not the case on a sand racetrack?

Wet dog tracks can be faster if the track is able to be rolled, but heavy dog tracks are always slower

It would be even more helpful Rob if there was official guidance as to the "going" so that this could be published in form guides etc. It has been evident for years from trainer comments etc that there are differences meeting to meeting and yet we are always told it is "standard". Why they refuse to differentiate is totally beyond me. Apart from obviously assisting punters, it might also help punters understand some of the "shocks", only some mind you lol, and thus help relieve some of the negativity and suspicion that surrounds Bingo and SA racing as a whole.
Stef Miller has 3+ runners in 5 of the 9 races... problematical for punters to put it "nicely".
R1 Ziets reported Switched On was responding well to the blinkers lto and she duly ran a decent race, see no reason why any of the form from that race should be overturned despite the rise in d. The one that I think may be dangerous is the dropped in trip Miesque's Secret. This one finished well ahead of SO behind Rock Burner over 1400 in Sept, the d suited her better but she was going much the stronger 300 out and I think she might surprise here from a decent draw. Countering that idea somewhat is the fact that Yeni rode both lto, albeit over different trips, and is on SO. Beware the SM runners! Miesque's Secret (e/w) x Switched On x Monte Carlo Player
R2 Plenty in with a chance headed by the generally consistent Antartica. The Prinsloo yard has lively contenders in The Captain's Cat, Super Club and, if the break has helped, Jack Dan also can't be discounted. If Super Club is a contender then The Long Walk must also enter calculations. Sir Cecil has something to prove over this d on this course but if proving effective over the trip must also have a decent shout. Was hoping for a better price but I'll chance Gold Chest. The form of his penultimate run has worked out well and his time that day was almost a second quicker than Antartica, the latter carried 7.5kgs less than GC that day and now carries 2kgs more. The time of his maiden win over 1400 was approx .5 seconds quicker than the winner of an MR78 later that day. Gold Chest (e/w) x The Captain's Cat x Super Club
R3 Another where plenty have chances but it might pay to stick with Morrie who is being rewarded for consistency and goes for the hat-trick. Downtown Danza could be dangerous, ran well when last returning from a break and reportedly not striding both lto and 3 runs back. Off this low weight from a good draw he could surprise. Autumn Encore had excuses lto and gets a 4kgs swing with Morrie so also likely to be right there. Shades Of Silence has run well from poor draws in the last two and with a better box this time could also prove a threat. The consistent Excalivar and big maiden winner Dodgy Dutchie also have claims. Morrie x Downtown Danza (e/w) x Autumn Encore.
R4 If Talk It Over can reproduce his penultimate run then he goes to the winner's enclosure imo. Unfortunately, he has shown little in all other runs. Difficult, for me anyway, race and Stef Miller having 4 runners does not help. 7th Saint could be the right one with Wrogemann up but I would rather chance Milky White e/w, not a bad effort lto especially considering the run was the first after gelding and he reportedly finished lame, better drawn here and the jockey booking could simply be retention of ride. Stablemate Roxy Babe would make more appeal but for the draw and the 17 week rest. Two to perhaps be wary of are Highlight who, especially in this field, might improve for the step up in trip and the girl taking on the boys, Flying Peg, who is slightly better drawn today and whose form I think is possibly better than the bare facts suggest but she does come off a break. Flying Peg (e/w) x Milky White (e/w) with Highlight nibbled.
Too much waffle lol...
R5 Groovy News is 2/2 over c/d but I think Sky Full Of Stars could end that unbeaten run and would prefer to do him e/w.
R6 Prinsloo thinks Captain Leon will need the run so my allegiance has switched to Elegant Gent e/w
R7 Wide open. Will chance Lady Duchess e/w. I see no reason why Miracle Rising should not go close again but the jockey bookings suggests this is unlikely. Hmmm...
R8 Kingoftheworld x One Cool Cat
R9 Rock Burner x Royal Visionairre
Be(s)t of luck to all
