look at the makeup of the Victory Moon field
17 horses

10 owned by the three big owners of the moment. they wont last forever.
2 raced by their trainers
1 is SHEIK MO
1 is GERBER. Big owner
Judicial Family of trainer
Prince of Orange not a small owner
so that leaves Rocketball with a few smaller owners in the field.

in a few years SA racing will be a few big owners racing against each others. being trained by a few big yards and maybe 30-40 jocks riding for them exclusively.

this is not a model for growth

That will be full circle won't it?.....The "Sport of Kings"started with a few Kingdoms, putting up money to race their best against each other, and the peasants of these kingdoms started betting against each other!
.........our problem is that somewhere along the way they started stealing from the peasant's betting pools to pay the prize money! ;)
