the problem so far is that bb has never introduced himself to owners and explained his vision going forward.

Ballie do you own and race horses in KZN? If you don't then apparently you don't have the right to question anything...

Surely this will effect not only owners if they start making demands on Gold Circle racing about distances, track conditions etc and their demands are acted on?( for the good may i add)

OTA, your stance is peculiar, you make an unfounded accusation of the fear of someone being a megalomaniac and defend that by acting as an interested party then a sulking juvenile. You haven't met BB, had not read the MOI and don't own a horse that races in the GC jurisdiction. Due respect, the IOA does not have to pass your muster.
This organisation seeks to do one thing for all owners and that is give them a voice and afford them the opportunity to engage with the operator. BB does not need to earn anything from this or bolster his ego but then you would know that if you just picked up the phone to him.
It is amazing that people without any real involvement in trying to improve the game by giving of their personal time and skills are quick to pass judgement and have nothing to offer ultimately.
I will be taking a holiday Bob

To follow on from T, BB has communicated with us in the past and is still doing so. OTA this is an Owners Association after all, why would we want to communicate with punters especially with regards to the setting up of the association ????
BB has been in contact with GC to open channels of communication between us for the future and has touched on areas we would like to communicate with them (track conditions and stake monies)
Ballie if you dont know who BB is...... and he has...... to give the owners a voice. His vision is your, my, every owners vision and as an association will carry far more weight when communicating with GC.
This has been brought up in the past, this is an owners association, feel free to start a punters association (I will join), but as owners we need a voice.

I have read, reread and reread my posts again. If I have offended you with these get over yourselves.
You come on a punters site to create awareness and then shit yourselves when one of the punters asks exactly what is this that you sre posting about.
In Andre's immortal words go f$%k yourselves

All i'm saying is that he should have called a meeting with owners and explain his visions going forward. The gc meeting was a waste of time, because the anwers to all the suggestions was Raf will look into it.There was also confusing statements coming from bb's trainer, then a email from gc says that owners can contact them with any complaints and tell you to become a member of gc.

In the cold light of dawn I would like to apologise for my behaviour yesterday. I agree that the KZN owners issues have nothing to do with me and I wish you well in sorting out the embarrassment KZN racing has become.
Speaking as a punter, I have enjoyed KZN winter season in particular for 40 years and more. These days KZN poly is no better than PE poly and that is a great pity imvho.
