With rumours that certain Natal trainers will be raiding or relocating horses to Gauteng will KZN reciprocate and revoke the restrictions on raiders? Maybe the solution is to poly the track and dye it green...maybe punters/trainers/owners will not notice?

Also thinking this. What is the photo supposed to do? I know Zuma is a problem. Let's send a photo of Zuma in parliament to everyone in SA to justify his being in charge?

Noted Bob ..but surely over the prior to change they were in charge...if memory serves me right he was on winning ways discussing how the grass is brought from abroad etc and how it will be ready...so even if depts have changed to cleaning stables and feeding horses accountabilty must still be upheld...if u start something finish it!!

Unfortunately the problem is not only restricted to GC - does anyone on here still remember Newmarket  Lights erected at the Smelly T (still one of the stupidest decisions taken in SA racing imo) - we are now into mid Nov and only the 2nd night meeting of the season was of course abandoned last night   And of course the excuse is that the people that made that decision is long gone

And then we have the NHA - as highlighted by Robyn Louw's article in the SP - they keep on introducing new rules that can't be implemented - like the one where jockeys are not allowed to enter any gambling establishment - so how come they can rock up to ride at race meetings - I know the bookies have abandoned the tracks, but surely tote betting is also classified as gambling - unless they categorize wagering on the tote as daylight robbery :P

Interesting that rule 45.6 of the NHA states:
Any proposed alteration to any racecourse on which races are to be run shall be submitted to,and be approved by the National Board.

(would love to see the notes when considering the decision to split Greyville!)

Seemingly the Golf Course pumping loads of water onto the track( in error) didn`t help.

They are going to be working on the pick up point ahead of Sunday`s meeting
