How can any "normal level-headed person" that has owned horses for the past 5 years in Natal not describe GC without using many four letter words and a bundle of adjectives ? or without bringing yourself into disrepute ? Useless bunch of...........
The joke is they keep patting themselves on their backs and telling themselves what a great job they are doing.  4 letter words x 10
Now, its the golf courses fault.....  4 letter words x 10
Now, they are going to fix it by when ?  4 letter words x 10
Now, they are a delusional bunch of.........  4 letter words x 10

When I was a newly qualified graduate wanting to change the world at one of our largest financial institutions, I was fortunate enough to be assigned to a mentor ( my boss ) who was a man of few words but of great wisdom. One of his regular responses to my frustrations at the powers in command was to tell me time and time again - " Mike let them judge us by our actions not our words. Let them judge us by seeing that we completed what we said we would do."
When it comes to racing authorities I believe that if they were judged on delivering what they said that they would do, they would be sorely lacking in the vast majority of circumstances. I quite frankly cannot believe the patience of the role player in the racing chain, that is undoubtedly the owner.

Quite a big electrical storm with rain in my area, about 7/8kms from Greyville
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

How does the Island do it? Not only do they race for like 40 consecutive weeks but Champs de Mars is also used as a training track. And they also have their cyclones worse than us.
