I have narrowed it down to 3 myself - Table Bay, HB and Edict of Nantes but will need to narrow it down further surely.

Last one could have been that filly greg cheyne had a share in and was eventually sold to australia if my memory is still intact?

To win group one races in the cape you have to have champions as all the group one races are at weight for age or wfa with conditions and there are zero handicaps at group one level ..it would be fair to say that geoff woodruff has had some very good handicapers in the last few years but not able to win at wfa .The cape season is without doubt the best season of racing in south africa with the best horses competing ..The natal season has lost this position and wont get it back in my lifetime and the title of south african champions season is absolute tripe..

They are only 8 Grade 1's in the Cape Season. 3 are restricted to 3yo's, 2 are for fillies and mares and the other 3 are WFA. He ran second with Louis the King and Yorker in the Queens Plate and J&B respectively. Before Legal Eagle won the Queens Plate when last did Tarry win a Grade 1 in the Cape before that?

They are all good value if they win:)
Watching individual performance on replays at the moment.
Ones I will be keeping an eye out for are Africa Rising and Bishops Bounty at those odds as they may get better even when joe public lumps on the obvious favourites the tipsters will all be touting.

I am not suggesting that a horse should be judged on one run, but for me Table Bay has not yet shown that he stays 1600, and I am looking elsewhere for the winner

Before his " flat run " last time he was being touted as a champion

Wonder if there was any explanation?

There are striking similarities between him and elusive gold. Both owned by hong kong owners, both more than likely to be exported I would assume, both ridden by Fayedherbe and both likely to start at longer odds and perhaps the stable 2nd choice?

I'm using some license above as the owners may not both be from hong kong and I'm not sure if brett had a second horse in 2014......

But you guys get the point......:)

Perhaps he can repay me for the Quick Brown Fox debacle :)
