Barry cries like a baby

if i had his money i dont know if i wo
uld be trying to buy success but 1 thing s forsure Satish Sanan (GOOGLE SEARCH IF YOU DONT KNOW HIM) Jackson Tracy Farmer Dogwood stables Westpoint thoroughbreds big owners with big American money dont give a fuck about winning a group1 in South AfrIca with prize money of an allowance race in USA.

If thats what turns Barry on good luck in America Sheik Mohhamed trys to buy his success good lck to him 2

TV should get a cockstand when they win the Dubai world cup with a horse like irredecanse who they purchased before she was a champ .
Russian Sage anyone with money could buy the question is will he recoup his purchase money or is it worth the glory of winning a race at any price .
Sheik Mohhamed loves buying success Coolmore love breeding sucess.
Time will tell .

Marlon, you just don't understand the play.

And you have a short memory.

I hope I keep getting screwed on horses like Captain's Lover, Little Miss Magic, On Her Toes, Stratos, She's on Fire, Sally Bowles, Stately, because it really feels good.

For somebody to accuse me of trying to buy success is a step up on class for me. I like that accusation. It means that I have a lot of money to waste. I am going to have to re-classify myself.

I come to South Africa for value and I love the sport and I have great admiration for the horses and horsemen of South Africa.

Those you mentioned with whom I compete in the U. S. lack the foresight to come to South Africa because it is challenging.

I could write a book on the hoops I had to jump through just to get the deal done on Russian Sage.

Marlon, take a look at all of the money of Sheik Rashid's you have spent and tell me what you've got to show for it from your buys in South Africa and tell me who is wasting money and overpaying for horses!

I can't wait to see that list, pal!!!!!

tHE Amount ofmoney wasted aroud the world by the Maktoum family shows you they dont care about money ,im not going to go into detail but the diffrence with Sheik Rashid is he puts a price on a horse and dont budge take it or leave it stategy.

He studies and watches and buys at what he thinks is value to him not what anyone else can think.
Satish Seemar had to much of an influence like buying Zeeno for example before the 2 year old group1 with the horse running for old owners drawn in car park but Rashid said he has a feling that this son is special but most of all Rashids horses were trained By a very poor trainer in Seemar hence the horses he bought from around the world did shit but horses from SA like National Captain paid there way in USa with decent trainer Kiran Mcloughlin.

Barry Captain's Lover, Little Miss Magic, On Her Toes, Stratos, She's on Fire, Sally Bowles, Stately

They are all great buys but there value in the USA is not worth money unless the fire there and hence our Rand is worth shit in American racing terms they are not big deals.
You hit the jackpot with those yearlings and i told you for the 10th time you are the master but thoses horses cost you peanuts im waiting to see results of the yearlings that cost caviar .
If Barry you are so good at buying yearlings all over the world why not take up the challeng and go buy in Australia were the stakes and value of mares makes us look stupid and race for big cash.
SA market is peanuts in the world of racing hence our stake money ,
With your succss n choosing yearlings you should be able to buy all over the world and win group1s all over the world.
Please tell everyone on the forum what it premium it costs the owner to enter into a team valor horse ,how much above the purchase price and if i am correct when you buy horses in syndicate you get your shares for free or at a big discount so your loss is not great.
You love mentioning all your success but never your failures what happened to the filly from Wendy Whitehead rumoured you paid 1 million rand for .Aquino syndicated a 750 000 $ not sure what you paid for it and i am sure there afew ther failures around the world but yo never lost in them because you got mos of your shares for free.

Mostly im intrested in little miss magic as i own her sister please tell me were she is and whats her plans so i can hope you do well with her to increase the value of the sister.

All i try and do is have fun with mates at a price we can afford as im not as rich as you .

Good luck with Russian Sage i hope Larry Nestadt wins the duty free as he is a very good man and loves racing put his money up good luck to him.Justin is a nice guy good trainer and he deserves a chance in Dubai from the bottom of my heart i hope you beat Mike De kock in Dubai big night and de kock runs 2nd ,would love to see your face and his face.
I am tired of arguing with you you win ,

please can you choose a yearling at the next sale for the clan syndcate free of charge s maybe we can get a filly better than clan classique as with your expertise and knowledge and eye us porpers might own a filly of your calibre.

i FORGOT to mention how much did you pay for the Brazilian filly Colina Verde i heard above 1 million dollars ,again not sure how much you paid but at this stage you got along way to go to get your money back ,the clock is ticking she will be 5 year old soon and at this stage the share holders are a bit poorer.

Tell the forum that it costs 100 $ in america to feed a horse vets transport are very expensive so costs mount ,
Alexander Rose i like your plan to try and recoup her expenses winning a group3 might have got you square on a years expenses hopefuly you will get your money back in Aus with Hussonet.

i am sure she will throw a nice baby.

I am sure that you will be sending all your SA mares to Aus with that veiw in mind

I think we should be welcoming foreign investment in our industry, and should appreciate and welcome the pioneer's a lot more.

We certainly cannot disagree about the quality of our horses, the value, and the exceptional horsemanship available here - now can we.

Perhaps just perhaps, with sufficient foreign inflows, we could have big stakes races, that would keep our own champions at home.

We will never be able to compete with stakes pot unfortunately and to build a big race is very difficult - the Dubai world cup took a long time to actually get the world's attention - I see two markets forming in the near future - breeders that concentrate on cheap horses to race locally and those that breed for an overseas market - stellar horses might spend their formative years here and perhaps have one or two starts to prove themselves then off to race overseas - maybe more two-year-olds will be poached so that they can race their classic year abroad - I hope like everyone else that i could find a useful baby that Barry and HH would want to buy much more fun to dream this than to buy endless lotto tickets!!

Maybe time we start to poach across the border in Zim - surely some of the better youngsters could become fair handicappers here rather than rack up ten wins for the price of a shopping trolley filled with a weeks food - we should try to find a way to keep racing going in that country as the Zim guys are master horsemen and breed good stock considering the hopeless situation they find themseles in - perhaps the horses do so well because they are raised hard without the trappings of modern breeding - or perhaps they run fast to avoid being supper?

Well done to all Barry,

Bravo on the very good run,

...and Henny, you would struggle to get black type here, you did the right thing and the stable will return to PE to steal a lot more in the future, I also think your stable should steal a few races today.

AND BDB right on!

Marlon, William Shakespeare suffered from dying before he had a chance to meet you, because he could have drawn countless characters from your many conflicting and multiple personalities.

Now that I know my true role in your life, I plan to devote all of my waking hours (and some subconscious ones, too) to enhancing the value of Little Miss Magic so that you can cash in to the greatest extent possible with the ironically named Pure Class.

You can count on it!
