8)9 Last Battle 18-1

Lovely last day of the year - to assist Scotia in 'going out with a bang' - I suggest having a go at Rivarine - gave top filly Green Pepper 6.5 kg's and failed to beat her (controversially if memory serves) by a shd - today gets 7 kgs from the main danger Captain's Causeway (who also should prefer 1200) - only slight concern might be that R is returning after a break - however betting support suggests that he is ready for this - I think very hard to beat.

Best roughie by quite a way imo is Zortziko in the last - dropping on the ratings and ran a good race behind Dolphin over 1000 in his first run after a short break - better this 1160 and I think good value at 14's (also the Z fits - it is the last day of the year after all :lol: ) - imo has Just As I Said to beat

Other races seem pretty competitive imo - roughies that I will be including are Ntoma in the 4th (not sure what happened last time, may be better this 1400 - but has a wide draw and an 'unfashionable' jock) and Grasshopper in the 5th - also has a wide draw but on hi maiden win and a line through Military Award and Chile Con Carne, there does not seem too much between him and the fancied Act of Loyalty.
