The roads in my neighbourhood have quite a lot of joggers and cyclists in the mornings and evenings, but its a bit confusing cos I thought they did it in the interests of better health...and if so, why do so many try so hard to get run over?

I used to get very irritated by cyclist & jogger behaviour until someone pointed out the following to me:
Don't forget that joggers & cyclists are usually also motorists. So why do you believe their road behaviour would miraculously improve once they are on a bicycle or jogging?
