"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Monday 9th June Workings..
17 years 16 hours ago
Afternoon,
This afternoon completed and went as follows..
The 1st runner we wanted 1.5 and with being around 1.61 on arrival and then a non runner and 2.6% reduction, we now wanted a lay price of 1.49. The price remaind to high and never came down to our lay price at any stage at all, so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten and so a surprise result and 'one that got away in hindsight'.....
The 2nd runner we wanted 1.2 and with being around 1.47 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave...
The 3rd runner we wanted 1.18, but a non runner and 9.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.16. The price was that on arrival and so we had a lay at 1.16. There was then another non runner and further 2.6% reduction, but the price went low enough to make the full lay back up. The lay went and won, so the way it goes, but only traders playing and they got their trade back prices in running, therefore got away with it...
The 4th runner we wanted 3.1 and with being that on arrival we had a lay at 3.1. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.4 and beyond, so a chance for a 'free' lay before the race for traders. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result....
The 5th and final runner we wanted 3.0, but an important non runner and 20% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.6. The price was a very well supported 1.67 on arrival and so we had a lay at 1.67. The lay was beaten and so a good result..
WELL PLAYED..
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) didn't get any play with running out of enough potential lays left, so they'll look towards this evening..
'Bank building' strategy/target players also failed to get a start and so they too will go to this evening...
Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades and so well played guys..
So that was rather boring with only a bit of trading, but they made a bit and so well played. Speak soon guys..
Marc.

Morning,
The races, runners and prices, to work around for this afternoon as follows..
2.30 Newton Abbot. RAPSCALLION (1.61)
Our price 8/11 (1.727) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.5 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although he does not tend to lead in his races, it wouldn't be any surprise at all to see him race very prominently this afternoon in this small field*
2.45 Folkestone. SUB PRIME (1.45)
Our price 2/5 (1.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.2 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'bit' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race.
3.30 Newton Abbot. WOOLCOMBE FOLLY (1.3)
Our price 1/4 (1.25) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.18 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he has a tendency to lead or race very prominently, so no surprise to see him lead this small, weak looking, field this afternoon*
4.00 Newton Abbot. FOOLISH MYTH (3.2)
Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.1 or under we'll go in for a lay.
4.15 Folkestone. PEDIMENT (2.88)
Our price 23/10 (3.3) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.0 or under. *Please note that a 'bit' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*
All the races priced up with non runners taken into account up until 09.25am
That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. Only the five to play with and so no room at all for any error early, and with it looking very tough early doors for us we may not even get any strategy play this afternoon. Anyhow, we'll go into battle and see what it throws up. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings...
