Marshals have started to take greyhound bets( ilegal in SA) seemingly there is a loophole in the rules in KZN (funny enough )

I think the law says "not allowed to race greyhounds"

Pity i love dog racing it was here then banned as people were losing money on way home from work on a friday night!

Never mind we have greyville

I have posted on many occasions but punting on the dogs is a far better option for the operators to generate turnover

1 the track is smaller soccer field
2 they run on time every 20 mins?
3 cheaper to own
4 no difficult loading process
5 dont have a jockey on back to change running habit
6 a night at the dogs is bloody exciting
7 dont use drugs (a pie is fine for slow and steak and a kill the night before for fast)

And i am sure a few more

They were trying again in Natal with the Harnness races and with dogs a few years ago but would appear to have died?
