Bookmaker Contravention - Wooden Spoon Met

I see certain bookmakers have priced up for last, wooden spoon, in the Met. This is in direct contravention of the KZN gambling board rules. I'm trying to get the Gauteng gambling board rules but to no avail.

I think the concern here would be a type of betfair situation ?
I am no jockey but would imagine its easier to lose on a horse that win with it .

So if u have the situation where a 100/1 shot that really csnt win the jock has to make sure it runs last and would make interesting viewing watch the tail enters all getting their arm getting pulled off

Just my thought for the day

I would be concerned that a horse that is feeling something is pushed hard to the line because there are bets on for last place... also imagine for example you back Legal Eagle for last in the Met and he does run last because he broke down and is destroyed or retired... I think its unethical

I can't read Naresh's note on the cell but a few decades ago the then jockey club said it was prohibited because it brings racing into disrepute.

I think it would be very difficult for a jockey to "make' a horse run last without it being very obvious...

Very very easy to run last, jockey pulling horse out of the race ....reason: felt something Amiss .
Piss poor ethics and I'm sure against the rules

But its not allowed in one provinces gambling board. I also seen it before for some reason never bother about it. What if you win and then they say the bet is cancelled because the gambling board does not allow it. They not suppose to be betting on it period. Its against the law....

Ever thought of entering politics and taking on Zuma rather than getting excited about crap like this? How much spare time do you actually have?

Works in roundabouts

Marshals have started to take greyhound bets( ilegal in SA) seemingly there is a loophole in the rules in KZN (funny enough )

Maybe I am a Zuma supporter...or not...

I don't actually have alot of spare time. Don't want to be confrontational so I shall let it be...
