PINK SLIP FOR THE GOLD CHALLENGE

I have got the pink slip from the boss (my wife) to attend the Gold Challenge at Clairwood on Saturday.

I would like to know which of the clans folk will be attending as it would nice to put same faces to these mysterious posts.

I will be traveling down to Durbs from Margate and should get there Mid morning.

I want to have a look at Pocket Power in the flesh as we will probably not see him next champ season and I guess this is the race that he is here to win if reports in the news papers are correct.

I appeal to all those that are able to - please attend. It would be a great KZN send off for the champ - He is going to win on Saturday and you wil probably not get to much of look at the July due to the crowds.

Desert Links is also running later and I will be watching him closely to due to his Margate connection.

I'm on my own then?

Alcaponee, i sat with puffin at Durbanville today and he indicated he'll be at Clairwood Saturday to see his and your Margate connection's horse.
I'm sure he'll respond to your post if and when he sees it.

Thanks will take you up on the offer. The excitement is building already. I have only experienced live racing once and that was at the July last year and I am really looking forward to Saturday and my first trip to Clairwood.

Its really going to be exciting to watch the best in the land perform and it may get even more exciting if Desert Links and Float win, if Dubai and Singapore are anything to go on.
