race 2- Been burnt plenty by expensive unraced horse's and the stable has been costly to follow.
Will see how the horses go down and avoid any early prices.

My Race 2 comments -
1 -Daring Diva - Big Runner won Maiden very well - Mare won 5 between 1000 and 1200 could be the one to beat.
2 -Green Plains - Won maiden at 7/20 - Not sure if that field was so hot nothing has done much since.
3 - Outlander - Won 2nd start by 8 Lengths - Ran to the Highest Rating from those that one. Big Runner
4 -Alraune - Back end of quartets - fair debut - bred for further. Hot field this .
5 - Best Kept Secret - Very well bred - Fact that trainer is so so about her is a worry. Could win but only because she is getting 3 kg from main dangers , I will give he a miss this time . Only because the fillies that have run have that experience .
7 - Mbali - Lovely Pedigree they paid R375k at Nationals for her. First season sire which is a lot of money to pay , but I remember her and she is very athletic . Half sister to Harry Lime . All depends where LG has her so need to watch her go to the start. If not today next time.
10 - Sandalwood - Good maiden run , 2nd run had excuses and they must have been disappointed with that run. Fitter now more experience , will be right there . Good odds for a place and could make quartets pay better.

I like my Filly KANTARA QUEEN to run a better race , she is still a bit green and looking for this distance , but if Marco can not bounce her out of the gate and let her rather settle in and run on she could be in the placings , only problem 9/1 not worth a bet with that form in a field that has good form , so will include and watch the race.

Haven't contributed in a while so here are some thoughts.
R1 Miraflores makes appeal but debut work rider is a concern.
R2 too many uncertainties.
R3 Beautiful Shay is my pick. Teenage dream to follow home. Can't seem to have Costa for some reason.
R4 Royal utopia a worthy favorite imo. Only concern is that she seems to like the bend but on a line through sea bean seems to have the principle contenders held. Kantara queen is a possible improver and I agree Ordained is worth another go down the straight again.
R5 Agree again Kahlua probably a worthy favorite but for me Matilda's daughter seems the value. Coming down in the ratings and should be fit and well. Imo will go very close. September Bloom also a worthy inclusion.
R6 Cherokee has been very consistent and never seems to run a bad race. My selection goes to Starcraft prince who although a kg out at the weights I feel will go very close and will shorten if Royal utopia gets it right earlier. Stable I'm sure will be looking for the double.
R7 Honolua bay makes appeal and think the 11/2 may be worth a little nibble. On a line with secret vision I feel H should hold secret star. Outsider worth inclusion for me is Aldiara.
R8 Dragons breath has everything going for her and shouldn't miss the places. If Honolua in R7 goes well, then another inclusion may be Tell My star, only if Dragons breath some how fluffs her lines.
R9 Spring Steel made initial appeal but the one box and the Azzie stables current form is not inspiring. So for that reason I looked elsewhere and Stark as well as Led Zeppelin make appeal. The latter more of a place prospect.
Not too strong on anything but will fire the Dawson double and play around with a moffatt double in races 3&8 although I can see both being beaten. Matilda and Honolua my two main other plays.
Pa:
4,5/1,2,7/4,6,8/2,8/5,8/2,11/3,13. R288

Going place treble Moffat: Beautiful Shay, Jackies Joy, Dragons Breath. Stable looking good atm. Almost 10/1
Also Emmeline in race 4, Sherman's only ride for the day.

I agree on the Moffat runners - Jackie's Joy on the run behind Navette, should at least get close to Matilda's Daughter and Dragon's Breath looks to have found the right race, should go close to winning imo
