Lol Dave Yeah Sly sure the name wad Dean Latimer but could be wrong. Stallion and equipment and even sending guys I think to Sweden for experience and a few that came out here as well. Then we were told it was going to rural areas and tracks to pop up in Newcastle . And then it just quietly went away no explanation or plan. Wonder how many thousands were waisted. They could have built a big tent it would be well utilized .

Thank goodness. It would have been poorly supported at the tote windows and should never have been considered in the first place. I seem to recall that Dean Lattimer was "rewarded" with a Gold Circle board seat. Perhaps there's a lesson to be learnt there somewhere.

Yeah true Gazza and a few others. The real question is how much was spent on this and has it all just been written off and who is answerable ?. Surely the directors or somebody is accountable for the loss of money invested? Or is it just written off and swept under the carpet like many other things.

Seeing that it is Gold Circle...I would not be surprised if Sporting Post latches onto this story.

On a serious note, I think it was canned ever since Bart Rice took up a training position in S Korea.

I was watching the big race in france where Shaheen used to rave about the pool size and how much the punters could win
There was a 1/3 fav that got disqualified for galloping

Lol
