UK and Meydan

First 4 races at Meydan all have an odds on favourite and the card is really a poor one. Still recovering from last nights thunder ball numbers.

Saturdays numbers were

18-20-21-36-37 and the thunder ball 5

Last nights numbers were

6-18-20-21-37 and the thunder ball 5

Needless to say that there were no winners on either draw

You would have thought Bernard F could get himself more rides today?

How can you defend a ride like the one given to Major Tom in the opener at Southwell.

Great draw in number 3 box

They are off and from the start the horse is shaken up and chased along after a furlong finds its self switched to the rail about 5 lengths off the lead and in 2nd last position still been chased along

Then after another furlong the horse, as its coming into the bend is switched from the inside rail to 6 deep very wide thus losing about 8 lengths, race over given no chance.

oh did i forget to mention that it was the favourite

I have had enough for the day with this crap. Odds on runs in the bush and its stable mate wins. I am going down the road and going to donate what i was going to play (and lose) today to the Salvation Army.

What was the jockey doing on Bounty Pursuit in the starting stalls, lost many a length. Oh yes another well backed favourite not even in the race at the jump.

Ryan Moore is relaxing getting ready for the summer where he will ride every classic, group 1, the entire card each day over5 days at Royal Ascot, the Derby meeting, York and he may even pop into Durban to ride the July winner. That's how good he is :P
