Nah Truthsayer,, truth is IF it gets approved its just a small ad at best which wont be enough to buy ink for our printer per month, but we need all the cash we can get especially as Phumelela have sent us an email cancelling their ad so we now lose the little bit of monthly support they have been giving us which was carried over from the original ad that Clyde took with us when he was with the RA ,, and that's where the confusion came in with Larry cancelling the RA ad thinking I was taking a chance when I sent the invoice in for 3.5 as agreed with Clyde,, ,,, also now Phumelela have let us know that our table for four in the Furious room at Turffontein meetings has also been done away with so instead of 60kgs of food been left over in the mostly empty Furious room now there will be 64 kgs left over , then we get the news that Telly Track are at war with us because we dared stand up to the corporate bulling as per the suspension of Andrew not allowed to present at the course for April because he mentioned the word Formgrids which is now banned at TellyTrack, end of the day all we do is provide data and information to the racing industry at large and through us much turnover is added to the pools which in turn fund the game and the same money we help generate for the industry is used against us ,, nothing can make up for the lost years of where where should have been if we had support, cant they see that racing is the looser and not just me,, and nothing can make up for the struggle that we have had to endure in keeping Formgrids going for the industry ,, remember at the time when I put Formgrids on the net the call was to help rebuild racing and Formgrids is free for the industry to use,, I was told by Phumelela people that they would support the site and that never materialised,, but don't think I will stop trying to get things right just because an ad is taken,, but I also realise that weak board members are also at fault and the very structure of racing is flawed ,, top position holders in Phumelela have NO accountability to anyone and I also personally don't think the NHA, RA or the Racing trust are fulfilling their intended and entrusted roles in racing,, I believe the industry needs to take a hard long look at itself and restructure itself to survive and to thrive,, but no one wants to rock the boat because salaried men are comfortable and perks are good and on the other end of the scale honourable board members don't want any controversy attached to their good names so many issues are avoided and racing sinks bit by bit

When I read posts like this it saddens me. To grudgingly support something as helpful to ALL as what formgrids is, when spending 600 000 on a shitty RA websites tells me all I need to know.

if the operators who are on their knees for turnover dont know how much formgrids contributes towards it then they must just do a quick survey with punters ..when formgrids is down i and many others are lost and like mr hawaai says we shut shop ..ITS high time the big shots who make decisions put their personal vendettas aside and put the fucking welfare of the industry first before its to late ....

I find it amusing that Turf Talk has not mentioned the Jooste fall from grace it is as if it never happened. You might say this is because they don't court controversy, but a quick perusal of how the knife was stuck into van Vuuren when things started unraveling will quickly dispel that theory.

Do me a favour. The website is funded by those in the inner circle if not indirectly by Jooste himself.

If this is true it's like them sponsoring Penny Sparrow after he was taken SAHRC and found guilty. You have to be in it to win it....

.....if so ......then poor Charl has once again found himself involved with a dubious element.....was once a recipient of support from the other alleged fraudster Brian Roux..... :S

It is clear as daylight that he's compromised. This website was set up to counter the influence of ABC and has become the propaganda arm of Wainstein. Other funders include Klawervlei. Simple really, he can't bite the hand(s) that feed.
