"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Friday 13th June Workings..

Afternoon,

This afternoon completed and went as follows...

The 1st runner we wanted 3.1 and with being between 2.96 and 3.1 on arrival, we had a lay at 3.1 max. There was then a withdrawal and 16.7% and so now we wanted a price of 2.75 to make the full lay back up. The price went shorter than that and so we were back on with the full lay of around 3.0 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result....

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.7 and with drifting to slightly higher on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 1.7 max. The lay came in 2nd and so a good result........

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.8, but a non runner and 10.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.62. The price was around 2.98 on arrival and then tumbled down to us and beyond, so we had a lay at 2.62 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result........

The 4th runner we wanted 2.7 and with being around 3.15 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 2.7 max. The lay looked booked for 2nd, but the leader got very tired and the lay pipped him on the line! so frustrating, but the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it..

The 5th runner we wanted 1.18 and with being around 1.28 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won and so a good leave...

The 6th runner we wanted 2.1 and with being around 2.3 on arrival and not coming down to our lay price at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and lost a close finish, so heart attack saved, but 'one that got away in hindsight'........

The 7th and final runner we wanted 1.5 and with being around 1.84 on arrival, being over 50 minutes until the race and only a bit of trading left on offer, I'm taking a break for a couple of hours until this evening's racing, so good luck trading this race..

WELL PLAYED....

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target......They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner)........They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 3rd runner and with ending up level after their 2nd lay (the 4th runner) and then finding themselves with just one potential lay left, they take the levels and run, so win 1 target on the session...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 3.0 max and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.....They then had their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner) and a good result see them hit their targets..

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so well played guys..

So builders made light work of a testing looking day and well played. Rollers won one and then drew one, so they also get the wages this afternoon. Well played and speak soon..

Morning,

The workings for this afternoon as follows...

2.00 Market Rasen. L'OUDON (2.96)

Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.1 or under.

2.10 Sandown. KINGSHIP SPIRIT (1.83)

Our price Evens (2.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware, that although very lightly raced, he did show good speed to lead on debut and so no surprise to see the same tactics for this afternoon - Also please note that more emphasis has had to go on the early market for clues*

2.20 York. EVERY SECOND (3.05)

Our price 21/10 (3.1) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.8 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

2.30 Market Rasen. SOUTHERN REGENT (3.15)

Our price 2/1 (3.0) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.7 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

3.00 Market Rasen. GEORGIAN KING (1.29)

Our price 1/4 (1.25) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.18 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Traders be aware that he likes to lead, or race very prominently in his races*

4.10 Market Rasen. PREMIER DANE (2.06)

Our price 7/5 (2.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.1 or under.

5.15 Market Rasen. MISS CARROLL (1.7)

Our price 8/11 (1.727) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.5 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues concerning this race*

All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account up until 09.50am

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. Not too many to work around and with that unexposed nature being rife, if does leave us very vulnerable to big drifters and gambles. Overall though we have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so with discipline to the maximum and with taking advantage of any prices that come our way, we'll hope the value wins the session as it certainly does over a period of time. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings..
