What confuses me and with no disrespect to Mike de Kock is why Sheikh Hamdan sends horses here ? If he was buying SA bred horses then I could understand. These horses are flown over from Australia and raced here. If any good they face ridiculous export protocols that take a huge chunk out there racing careers to get to Dubai.
Why not race them in Aus ? Better racing, better stakes and no worries in moving them anywhere in the world.

I have also asked myself that question - the other way makes much more economic sense - buy them here and then export if they show they will be competitive - obvious example SOft Falling Rain ....

.....The Sheik also leaves plenty of them back in Ozz......at least when MDK gets a good one they may do a bit of mileage but they turn out better than those he could send direct from there....
