Taking my chances with the treble :-
R2) Dynasty's Blossom X (R6) Omaha Tribe x (R8) Dalibhunga
Dynasty's Blossom should appreciate the extra 200m and from gate 1 should be involved in the finish. The risk here is that these are two year olds who are certainly not the most reliable.
Omaha Tribe, one of several in the field who was beaten by Big Ed last time out. I appreciate he is a three year old taking on older rivals over distance, however most of his career he has done that - take on the older horses. Just feel he is very much alive here and has a realistic chance of winning this at decent odds.
Dalibhunga is very well bred and hopefully has come on since his debut. Keep an eye on this one.

Race 1: tough start to the Bipot with many unraced. Pen -Chan first run was good enough to justify favoritism, and he should go close with the benefit of the experience. 2,3,11,13 all fair debuts and any of those could improve enough to win.
Race 2: Dynasty's Blossom will enjoy the extra but a very skinny price unless you got on early, but should be ok as a bipot and PA banker. Hopeful and Rings and Things have both had two fair runs- both wide draws but a small field after the two scratchings so both should be involved in the finish. Favola improved last time and can earn a cheque.
Race 3: Weston has been priced up favourite- she comes off a short break but has improved each start. Riverboat Queen has not lived up to her good debut but must be included. Daring Miss and Arctic Green have both had quite a few chances to shed their maidens but are consistent. My selection is Inspired Choice- a fair debut and nice improvement last tine. Is bred to enjoy the extra.
Race 4: Twilight Trip is too short in the betting for me. His two sprints were fair and he should enjoy the extra, but even money in an open race is madness. Gadget Man is the one to beat, and is excellent ew value at 7/1. All of Piracy, Savuti, Tiger Warrior and Mark's Glory have decent form. Rokatenda and Fort Viva are improving.
Race 5:Shall be Free was given 6 lb penalty for his last good win. He steps up in trip, but that should be no problem now that he has learned to settle early. We hope that he still has further improvement to come, and he is a big runner, although this is a very open race. Saint Marco is very well in at the weights, although his best runs were on the poly. Mega Secret has consistent form, but offers no value At 3/1. Kilrain, Fly Like The Wind and Friendly Tibbs have solid form and won't be far off.
Race 6: Big Ed has great form over this trip but is another favourite that I will oppose today as there is little value at the price. Juddering Angel is better than his last two, and is well in at the weights on best form and is my selection. Royal Ginger is consistent. We have Desert Wisdom running, and he will enjoy this trip and is a roughie to include in quartets. Mambo Star is a kilo under sufferance but is distance suited.
Race 7: Another short priced favourite in Professor Brian. He won well last time but is up in class and I prefer Caballo Blanco. Quite a tricky race with a few inconsistent runners that could pop up at best.
Race 8: Dalibhunga is the one to beat. Cossack Guard, Harvey Spector and Best Nut Ever the dangers. Suave fair debut and could give cheek. Love Triangle will need the experience and is bred for further.
