"Group" RESULTS - 'Saturday Afternoon' 14th June Workings..

Afternoon,

This afternoon completed and went as follows..

The 1st runner we wanted 3.2 and with being around 3.4 on arrival and not coming down enough, we never see a penny matched at our lay price at any stage, so all had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'.....

The 2nd runner we wanted 2.44 and with being around 3.35 on arrival and although dropping in price, it still didn't drop enough and we never see our lay price at any stage. The runner was beaten and so another 'one that got away in hindsight'......

The 3rd runner we wanted 2.2 and with being a well supported 1.91 on arrival and getting shorter and shorter, we had a lay at 1.91 max. The lay went and won, so the gamble landed and the way it goes...

The 4th runner we wanted 2.0 and with being that on arrival we had a lay at 2.0. The lay was beaten and so a good result........

The 5th runner we wanted 1.7 and with being that on arrival and getting shorter and shorter, we had a lay at 1.7 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result..........

The 6th runner we wanted 2.4 and with being around 2.3 on arrival and shortening we had a lay at 2.3 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result......

The 7th runner we wanted 2.6 and with being around 2.34 on arrival and shortening (went odds on), we had a lay at 2.34 max. The lay was easily beaten and so a good result.......

The 8th runner we wanted 1.6, but a non runner and 3.1% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 1.58. The price was around 1.67 on arrival and then dropped down to us, so we had a lay at 1.58. The lay won a battle, so the way it goes. Traders got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it........

The 9th runner we wanted 2.7 and with drifting to around 2.92 on arrival and not coming down to us again, race to racers had to avoid the race. The runner was beaten and so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! Early traders happy though.....

The 10th runner we wanted 2.8 and with being around 3.4 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage, we all had to avoid the race. The runner came in 2nd after a battle, so 'one that got away in hindsight'.........

The 11th runner we wanted 2.7, but a non runner and 9.8% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 2.53. The price was around 3.15 on arrival and although dropping down quite a bit, it never quite come down enough and so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten and so 'one that got away in hindsight'....

The 12th runner we wanted 2.4 and with drifting to around 2.7 on arrival and not coming back down to us, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner came in 2nd, so the drift beat race to racers to the punch. Grr! early traders happy though......

The 13th and final runner we wanted 1.3 and with being around 1.63 on arrival and only getting bigger and bigger, we never see our lay price at any stage at all, so a race to avoid for all. The runner went and won without much fuss, so a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave...

WELL PLAYED.......

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them).............They started their 1st strategy/target on the 3rd runner and then hit their targets on their 3rd lay (the 5th runner).................They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 6th runner and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 7th runner)............They then started their 3rd strategy/target on the 8th runner and with a poor result and not getting anymore play, they had to concede 0.5 of a target........So they end the session winning 1.5 targets....

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 3rd runner) at 1.91 max, but a poor result see them go behind early..............They then had their 2nd lay (the 4th runner) at 2.0 and a good result see them back levels..........Then came their 3rd lay (the 5th runner) at 1.7 max and a good result see them hit their targets...

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades and so they played a good session...

So builders hit nice and early and that was a good show with being 2/3, so good stuff lads. Rollers made 1.5 targets and so they did well despite everal drifters not helping, so well played. Speak soon...

All the races were priced up with non runners included up until 10.09am. Any non runners after this time will have to have their reduction factors subtracted from our prices.

That's what we have to work around for this afternoon then. Plenty to work around, but with that comes the chance of a race or two over-lapping each other, so we may have to sit the odd race out if the times go a bit wayward, but we'll just take each race as it comes and play to our prices. Again it's looking tricky and testing with that unexposed nature being rife, but again we have enough about us to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum as always and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings..
