"Group" RESULTS - 'Saturday Evening' 14th June Workings..
16 years 11 months ago
Evening,
This evening completed and went as follows..
The 1st runner we wanted 2.1 and with being around 2.26 on arrival and then dropping down to us and beyond, we had a lay at 2.1 max. The lay was beaten and so a good result.....
The 2nd runner we wanted 3.3 and with being around 3.45 on arrival and then dropping down to us we had a lay at 3.3. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.6 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result.......
The 3rd runner we wanted 2.9 and with being around 2.84 and shortening on arrival, we had a lay at 2.84 max. The price then drifted out to our own price of 3.2 and so a chance for builders and traders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten after a close finish and so a good result........
The 4th runner we wanted 1.46 and with being around 1.62 on arrival and then dropping down to us right at the off, we had a lay at the rock bottom of the market and 1.46. The lay was beaten and so a good result......
The 5th runner we wanted 2.6 and with being around 3.15 on arrival, being over 15 minutes to the race, all strategy play complete and with just a tiny bit of trading left on offer, I'm calling it a day there and chilling for the rest of the evening. Good luck traders with the remainder...
WELL PLAYED...
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1 target..........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 2nd runner), so with that leaving an insufficient amount of potential lays left to start another strategy/target, they ended the session winning 1 target.......
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.1 max. The lay was nicely beaten and so a good result as 4 runner builders go within 10% of their target and so take that and walk away.....
5 runner builders needed a little more and had a 'free' lay (the 2nd runner) that bought a tiny profit.........They then had another 'free' lay (the 3rd runner) that bought another tiny profit.........They then had their 2nd lay (the 4th runner) at 1.46 and a good result see them hit their targets..
Bank builder 4 runner strategy/target. £400 bank. Max 25% target £100
1st lay £100 to win as much of the £100 target @ 2.1 max. Result positive. Win £91
Total bank now £491
So with being within 10% of the target, it's always advised to take that and run.
Overall result. Win 0.91 of a target.

'Free' lay bought average/minimum profit £3
Total bank now £475
'Free' lay bought average/minimum profit £3
Total bank now £478
2nd lay £119 to win the remaining £22 @ 1.46. Result positive. Win £22

Afternoon,
This evening's workings as follows...
5.55 Lingfield. SPARTA REBEL (2.26)
Our price 7/5 (2.4) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.1 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues*
6.45 Leicester. GAP PRINCESS (3.35)
Our price 13/5 (3.6) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 3.3 or under we'll go in for a lay.
7.15 Leicester. PREDICT (2.68)
Our price 11/5 (3.2) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 2.9 or under. *Please note that more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues*
7.25 Lingfield. SEVENTH CAVALRY (1.68)
Our price 4/6 (1.67) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 1.46 or under we'll go in for a lay. *Please note that a 'little' more emphasis has gone on the early markets for clues*
7.45 Leicester. LITTLE PETE (2.88)
Our price 19/10 (2.9) and so no bets can be advised at current odds. If we see 2.6 or under we'll go in for a lay.
8.15 Leicester. TOP SEED (3.05)
Our price 12/5 (3.4) and so a LAY is the call at current odds. We'd lay up to 3.1 or under.
All the races were priced up with non runners taken into account up until 17.08pm. Any non runners after this time, then their reduction percentages will have to be subtracted from our prices.
That's what we have to work around for this evening then. I know I sound like a broken record lately, but can only tell it as it is and it's not fun, it's work! but it does look tricky and testing yet again and so we'll have to bob and weave our way through. We do have enough within our armoury to warrant a fight, so with discipline to the maximum and with taking advantage of any prices that come our way, we'll hope that value wins the session as it certainly does over a period of time. Good luck and speak soon.
Marc.
