Hi gents
New to the forum
But have been reading over the last few weeks
I live in England but massive fan of South African racing and AW in general
I am no expert at racing but love study stats etc and a bit of an spreadsheet boffin
I've created a spreadsheet for the uk all weather and still tweak it a little
I'm not here to promote any products just to enjoy picking a few horses and sharing them
I would like to use the spreadsheet on South African racing but can't get all the info need
Here in the U.K. I use racing post is there a free equivalent website I can use
I have done a bit of research of South African racing and because I'm not an expert the easier and profitable bet as a novice for me is picking the horses that run in maiden that have run close within last seven days
So I only tend to have a handful of picks each week
I often don't bet but like the idea of picking winners
I had call me darling yesterday using that strategy
Thanks for your time

Yes I use formgrids
But I only get the basic info
This is the sort of info I go off and can't find it on formgrids maybe it's on the pro membership
I find the racing post for the uk races is quick to read through and doesn't take up lots of time but they don't have SA race cards
Sporting post/life used to be free online but believe they charge now and that was easy to get the info
Total winnings
AW/flat winnings
Races run
Races won
I also then look at times in contention
And then in contention of the conditions such as distance/Cd class

Attheraces have South African races on their website.
Just had a look at the attheraces website and I reckon I could work with it
To work out the class in SA is that determined by the prize money?
