The race review was based on third horse and no further action but watching it you would have to believe that there might have been a problem with the winner coming onto the second horse ???

Lets see have given up on objections

Shouldn't they regulate the entire race?

Just from reading the thread, why didn't the jockey on Vulcar lodge an objection - the objection was lodged by the jockey on the horse that crossed the line 3rd?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Marcus did lodge the objection.

Playing Devil's Advocate here. Would the result of the objection been the same if it was Marcus who had won and Arries who objected? ;)

The question I'm asking is why didn't the stipes lodge an objection if it was so clear cut?Marcus lodged the objection five minutes after the race.

My understanding is that they seen a problem with the race and called a race review and fed back no further action taken on behalf of the third horse!

To me its inconceivable that watching a race with the blinkers off you can clearly see that the winner hangs onto the anton horse and intimidation for a good half a furlong and antons mount gets pushed towards and bumps the third horse due to this intimidation.

The stipes then all clear the race review and it then takes Anton to lodge an objection to show them what actually happened for them to correct the error of their ways

Although i'm happy Valcar won the race and my doubles and trebles are still going i have to say i dont think the interference caused would've had an effect on the result. Marcus was battling to keep his mount straight in the closing stages and was tiring. Tough call. My 2 cents worth.

The point is who should have lodged the objections irrelevant of the outcome

Does anyone know if they are racing on the "inner track" or "standside" track around the turn? Sorry I missed the previous race.

Cheers

Very good question.

Personally I don't think that Anton would have had the whip in his right hand (the correct hand), whipped the horse once and then changed the whip to the left hand (the incorrect hand) for the remaining whips from the 300m to the finish

To me, that's why it was as clear as day.

Arries is very promising jockey, and will be an excellent jockey in time, but he made a blatant error there
