Winter weather approaching the UK from the Artic, expect snow and heavy frost come Tuesday so dont expect too much flat racing on the tracks north of the midlands for a week or two

On its last run a week or so ago I cannot see Scuzeme not winning at Thirsk today. Slow start but rattled over the last furlong to finish 2nd on her first run of the season. Around 7/2

Hopefully the weather won't be bad enough to cause any abandonments, Chicken - daytime temperatures are forecast to be at least +7 in the north next week. Then again, you never know...
