The next year was better in my opinion, i was oncourse that day when shea shea won. Had Val de Ra , Jj the Jetplane , what a winter in the race ... sadly jj and VdR had been pulled out the race. Shea shea with striker up smashed them from the word go.

Agree. Goofy was a real superstar. But Tommy's Computerform win was brilliant. They came at him at the end, but he found more under a top ride by the Guvnor.

My favorite Computaform Sprint was in 2009 when Private Jet, Rebel King and Warm White Nights virtually went over the line as one. It was amazing to see 3 great horses and 3 great jockeys battle right the way down to the line.

IMO the Computaform sprints held at Germiston were for the real speed horses ..get out and go tactics.
