I see Marcus was fined R5000k for hitting a horse over the head.
I think if Legal Eagle had got up he would have lost the race as from the head on he hits the
winner on the shoulder more than once
Did anybody else notice that as the Stipes did not

I thought I saw some argee pargee head on when viewing up the track from the finish line when snapping photo's. I was hoping to have caught something on pic but I was too slow.

True. He sure has a flair for his hobby.

Ah thanks Pirates. The camera is not the big DSLR but just a compact Canon (SX700HS) and is not even a bridge camera. It's biggest asset for me is that it that has an optical zoom of 30x and I can do the manual settings that those DSLR's have but with narrower limits. Great to look at via monitors but if blown up in paper print I'm sure you will see quality reduction.

Betting's not out yet for this race so I don't know his price. Absolutely thumped his field on his debut. Full brother to Rafeef and seems way speedier than him. Looks a smart sort this and he should push the two likely favourites in Barrack Street and Wonderwall very close. Couldn't have been more impressed with his debut. Very excited to see how he goes.
You were spot on, well done.
