Wednesday 10th May Kenilworth

Some early thoughts
Race 1: We have Freedom Charter running- full sister to Ernie. Nice filly, but will need this run.
Sassy Lady showed good improvement last time and looks the pick, although Bernard is on the stable companion. First timers make this a tricky race.
Race 2: Time to Think to beat Miss D'Aray and Tiffindell
Race 3:Gadget Man disappointed last time and drops back in trip. The one to beat and good value at the opening odds of 6/1. Lauren of Rochelle always thereabouts. Shadow Warrior good debut and although bred for further must go into pick6. The Barry Burn good debut, and Captain Falcon tops the early betting, but I prefer the older horses. Harvey Specter has been thereabouts.
Race 4: None of 1-7 would be a surprise. Hero Quest fair run after a year off the track, and could be the right one. Kapteinspandieseile and Liquid Dynamite are consistent and must be included.
Two Brothers has the most scope for improvement but has a wide draw to overcome.
Race 5:A very open handicap. My pick is The Right Road.
Race 6: A closely handicapped race, a small field but there are a couple that should ensure a fair pace. Shall be Free is a big runner- I think that he still has further improvement to come.
Race 7: Another tricky race- Quickfire and Nasty Harry look to have the most scope for improvement.
Race 8: Sun at Midnight won well last time and could go in again with 1 kg penalty. Varistar nearly held on last time and again should be in the finish. Captains Dove is the one to beat- good run last time and that form well franked. Spending Spree could be anything after good win second start.

HERO QUEST - lucky to be alive after bad racing injury - He looked like winning a few after his debut but sadly he was taken out badly before he could achieve that, - I am bankering and backing him outright - he will be a Hero if he wins a race as he almost went through the rails that day

PINWHEEL made a fair debut - that run produced 2 direct winners- 3 seconds- 2 thirds and a fifth - the winner was only touched off by Dutch Phillip in his next start - will be better for that and will enjoy the extra 200m ... worth including at 10-1
