Excuse my ignorance, unsure of the work permit rules but

How does Ryan enter the UK at age of 34 to be trained in a field. I thought after a certain age limit you have to be a professional with a degree and experience in order to be granted a work permit.

How can they live earning anything less than £8 an hour. Surely they sign a binding contract with you in which it stipulates that they cannot leave your company after ex amount of time once they are qualified to do the job. I understand fully where you are coming from but unfortunately it's 2017 and as you know people use others as stepping stones every minute of the day.

If he has an EU passport or has a parent or gran parent born on the UK or if he himself was born here and his family left and he has decided to return

Naresh

Ryan has a EU passport

Binding contracts are like the contracts signed by Arsenal and others, not worth the paper they written on. People move when they want, they either just fuck off or play the victim card and get layed off with a package.

and I'm sure DTF will come on soon as speak about the building industry, I tried the other day to get a carpenter and lo and behold I rang 18 before I found someone to do a job. They are flat out too much work and not enough men. So again when I spoke to the guy that came round he told me, they cant find people and they cant afford to train people the minimum wage too much and frankly a 20 year old wold rather work at McDonalds than saw wood.

Thats what Nationalism and Populism does. The citizens does not want to do menial jobs but want to kick out the hard working foreigners who do these so called dirty jobs....

They can't find people now so imagine what's it going to be like when brexit kicks in.

Maybe another avenue to go is train these people up at their cost. Pay them the 8 an hour but have a contract that stipulates that when they are qualified they pay you ex amount for their tuition and hands on experience. They can't up and leave as easy as they can now.

Chicken

Ive tried everything. They work 2 weeks in hand so the worse they ever owed is £3k ash) You see by the time they qualified they are in a van of mine with a Fusion Splicer (£5k) and OTDR (£4k) and other valuable stuff. Most of them when they leave don't give notice. They simply give ultimatum, "pay me the 2 weeks I'm owed, I'm moving on and once you pay you can have your goods back"

Brexit will hopefully rock this country into the super power it used to be.

Any human worth his salt that needs to House and feed his family will take a so called menial job naresh. Youngsters want to start at 20 an hour and hate hard work. That's why I fear for Britain after brexit as the fruit will rot on the trees and the veg will rot in the ground. Easy won't be able to go to his fav restaurant as there will be no waiters or chef to cook his meal, DTF will have to mow his own lawn and Bob won't have a cleaner to come in and make his bed. :woohoo:

the ONLY thing I do and even in my personal life I apply the same thing is ....

when I interview someone I ask if they working.....then much later when I ask when they can start if they say ANYTHING under 2 weeks I wont hire them because it will only end the same way for me.

sort of like dating a chick while she is with someone else and then making her yours....I wont do it break up 1st.
