Come back out and restored some clarity.

Besides obviously the above, il start us off with some fancies.

R1 I think Delpech is the only danger to my selection. My selection was a $500 000 purchase at the sales and could be anything. With the money about though was lucky to get some 5/2.

R2 St John Gray horse makes decent place appeal but also quite strong on the above selection.

R3 Starpath looks an above average individual who will win his fair share albeit not a star. Only the draw beat Pilou last time out, my opinion on 3rd run after the rest I think Silver Glacier gonna have to be fairly special to beat him first time up.

R4 Cals crush obvious form behind winter watch, 1/3 favorite again possibly drawn on the wrong side and up against older male opposition. Clifton road a bit of money for on decent debut but that was some 7 months ago. The field does seem a weak one with all due respect so CC should win. Toby Coates possible place inclusion and Kimberly raider has a decent chance at earning petrol money for the raider.

R5 A novice plate so would should probably go according to the ratings. LG's Gratuity makes some appeal, has run the 1000 in some pretty decent times and lto behind the very fast stable companion Effortless reward ran on quite nicely for second and in my book ran very close to her rating and will be very close to a PA banker for me. Won't ignore the other top ratings in the pick 6 note as well david Nieuwenhuizen runs have been running forward races of late. If it was a handicap I'd be interested in scarlet veil but at the conditions I can't go against logic.

R6 If this was on the tight turf inside track I'd be all over Dalley like a hot rash as I was last time when running a nose behind double subsequent winner B21. But on this track and over a distance a little short of her best imo I have my doubts, Thus have forced myself to look elsewhere. Russian friend never seems to get luck in running and with a clear passage is over due a win. For me Silvery dream third run in the province is of decent e/w value and track and trip will suit to a tee. Inkolo for the quartet.

R7 Trading profit continues to slide in the ratings and continues to cost us money. You gotta think that track and trip should suit and is over due another win, no real confidence though as hasn't won in over a year. Trip to Troy my e/w play if reclaiming some of the form shown towards the end of last year will go very close.

R8 Joey piper clearly has some ability albeit plagued with issues. If repeating debut run I feel should kill this field. However when looking for a bit of value it lies in Quatro. Strictly on form should be held by JP on their last meeting but one thing we get from Grant Maroun is honest racing fit horses. Quatro is fit and may have been drawn on the wrong side in his last run. Munger Maroun combo in the money a third of the time and the 5/2 a top 4 may be better value then punting JP with all his issues.

Hope the thoughts help somewhat.

All the best.

Best Bets

Race 5: Jameson Girl(2) 2-1

Value Bets

Race 6: Shine Bright(5) 10-1
Race 7: Trading Profit(1) 9-2
Race 8: William Nicol(1) 7-1

I dont tip odds on horses but Pilou(1) (3rd Race) should win with All Groomed Up(7) 2nd for SWG & EXA. That should pay a few bob

Agree, agree, agree. She's such a versatile filly. I think Delpech will let her stride and be many lengths clear at the 400m.

Does not look that difficult

R1: Money suggests a match race - stable comments don't justify the support - who knows - to be safe I'll include the Tarry runner in the BP

R2: Again the betting suggests a winning debut by the imported Lady Burn - again to be on the safe side, I'm backing her up with the Tarry runner who looks the obvious danger - Tidal Tussle another who could feature with Hallucination who could improve with the aid of a tongue-tie

R3: Pilou probably has to fall over to lose

R4: The juvenile filly Cals Crush is drawn on the inside, but faces a weak field and is another who looks tough to beat

R5: Could prove another Tarry benefit day - the favorite Rebel to the Fore only has to bring her form to the track to win this - she does have her problems though (only her 6th run in the 2 years that she has been racing). If the wheels do come off, it looks like the only ones who can take advantage, would be Gratuity, Outlander and Rebel's Diamond

R6: First of the handicaps and my preference is for Sammi Moosa who has the draw, from the luckless Russian Friend who is overdue to win her 2nd race; Dalley imo has a tough task at the weights and the 1600 also probably a touch on the sharp side - still needs inclusion though with Beautiful Shay, Silvery Dream and Inkolo

R7: Again a few stand out imo; Trading Profit, Nephrite and Intandokazi all look ready to win again and I can't really split them; Trip to Troy races without blinkers and likes this track, so could surprise, while Var's Your Daddy is lightly raced but imo needs further improvement as the form of his last start look suspect to say the least

R8: Imo, Joey Piper on exposed form has this lot beat; first run after gelding, but the jockey booking seems to indicate that all is well. Cannes is finding form again and could be the main danger from William Nicol and Chief Sioux, who like the juvenile Tribal Force, need to show that they are effective over 1200

Enjoy B)

The favourites in race 3, 4 and 5 look home to me. 5/2 on these three is not the worst bet in the world. I have had a nibble
