Tiger Woods arrested for DUI

Golf star Tiger Woods was arrested on a drink-driving charge in Florida early on Monday morning, police say.

Police recorded the arrest at 07:18 local time (11:18 GMT) and the golfer was released a few hours later, records from Palm Beach County police show.

He was arrested in the town of Jupiter at around 03:00 local time, media reports say.

The 41-year-old has been recovering from a recent back surgery and last blogged about his health on 24 May.

Shame to see how things have changed for him. Not long ago, he was on top of the world.
The real scandal will be where he was coming from at that time

Don't think it was from his ex wife's house because from all accounts his car back window was still intact.

Nearly all of us are guilty of DUI

It has just surfaced that there was no alcohol involved, it was as a result of the medication he was taking for his back operation. The argument now is, "why didn't you take a taxi (Uber)?".

Apparently the penalty in Miami is the same whether the DUI is as a result of alcohol, drugs or medication.
