4th highest ranked horse in the world

According the the latest IFHA rankings, the 3 y/o colt Tartan Bearer, 2nd in the Vodafone Derby, is the 4th highest ranked horse in the world.

The interesting part is that he's a son of Spectrum.

He's also a full to Golan (Spectrum's previous best son)
Out of same mare and by Spectrum.
Must be some broodmare too.

Did you notice JJ is on this list. Good one Grecko no wonder he is going over seas. I did previously ask the question in a different post if he would feature on this list and now here he is.

Just a bit peeved that they got grecko's initials wrong.
His initials are M.N. (Michalakis Nicolakis) Houdalakis.

The ranking is earned by the rating for the single race. In other words, it's a ranking based on the 'best' performances since 1 December or so.

The Derby winner was rated 1 point higher, currently in joint 2nd place with Big Brown.
