Spider flower has done well this C and D. Peak run, good draw, MR drop, best trip. Looks a fair ew at 9's win and 2's top 3.

Race 2: No More Words( 11-10 I like the drop in distance as her first run was promising and a big plus has a plum draw. Not too sure about the first timer Mrs O(7) 16-10 as she is nominated on July day in a big feature

Race 4: Miss Bulsara(1) 9-10 she will love this distance where her last run looked a bit flat footed, so today is her day to run them off their feet. Exactas with Geosphere(4) 12-1 will be the bet for this race.

Race 5: Voodoo(1) 11-2- MY VALUE BET- Guys look at the last run of zippa formline, he was flying and enjoys this 2600m inside track. K.De Melo is riding well and will guide this horse to WIN. Miesque's Rumba(2) will be there and keep an eye out for Sebastian(7) 12-1 for the places.

Race 6:Trip To Rio(6) 8-1 has dropped 7 points since Jan and ran a cracker behind Hidden Agenda who in turn came out to place in a graded race. He went to the front last time and hoping he does the same again as this track will suit him down to the ground with the shorter run in. Fangia(9) 9-1 I like for the places and won last time over this C&D.

Race 7: National Key(6) 22-1 has dropped 9 points since Jan and on the Jiffy formline he beat Silver Scooter(4) 7-2 by a short head and is now 2kg better off so should have the measure of SS again. Only danger I see is Morpheus(3) 5-1 and Chili Con Carne(2) 7-1 strong front runner. Morpheus should beat Count Tassilo(5) on their 9 May run as he is now 1.5kg better off at the weights for a long neck beating.

Race 8: Zelig(3) 11-2 Good run last time in a small field but was his first run back from a rest. K.De Melo for the Van Zyl stable very dangerous and again a horse that has dropped 6 points since end of Feb. This shorter distance will be better for this son of Lateral as he won his only start over 1200m. The only danger is Captain Chips(4) 33-10 who has dropped 4 points since July last year as he had a long rest before last run of nearly 6 months. Watch for Haddington(12) 22-1 for the places as he ran way above his rating in a grad plate last time out. The draw is a concern.

Race 9: Cat's Whiskers(7) 12-10 is my BEST BET on the card. Another that has dropped in the ratings since Feb this year, a full 8 points has Delpech riding and this 1200m will suit her + a good draw. Spider Flower(2) 13-1 will be in the places so should Momo(3) 15-1
Take exactas. Spider Flower has dropped 8 points and is having 2nd run after long rest, Momo is having handicap debut but has run against Je Suis Silver who in turn has won twice since but draw a big worry.
